Hi!
I have a string var called sugg$ which is equal to lets say 9-20-33-45-55-11 .. I want to sort that string into ascending numerical order, so that the string reads .. 9-11-20-33-45-55 (with the -'s ibetween!)

It can be done, but it's a lot of work when compared to simply changing your string to a string array.

IanM , can this make it easy also to sort out somehow,and print,which 6 numbers have been out the most!
for instance it I have an array call num(49)
and you filled them with random numbers
lets say num(49) was equal to 50 and num(5) was equal to 5
what i want is the top 6 from the array that has the most in,so obviously in the example num(50) would go above num(5)

As you may guess I am doing a lotetry database, for my own personal use!

I can have it pick 6 random numbers for me and have it check them against the previous draws to see if they have been out, which it does do now.pretty well..of course if they havent been out then they are good to go! I spent a few days inputting all the drawn numbers, from year dot..lol!
what i want also now as a small gimmiky thing is to have it list the 6 most occuring numbers,and the 6 least occuring numbers, then have it make a pick of a mixture from the most and least (hot and cold) .. I have included a screeny of the proggy lsiting all the numbers and how many times they have been out, note how number 13 amazingly is the least occuring..hehe!
Btw Mobiius, what you mean legendary?!
I am only trying to sound grateful
