Finally done with this!

You can just make trees easier with this program, it only takes a grand total of a minute to have a good looking x or billboard tree, and perfectly working code to make it. I did this while I was doing the Halloween Comp in '09 because what made me almost late, were making the trees. So, that is my inspiration.

Note: I made it a bit simpler than what it was, plus the code if more flexible. It exports "tree.dbo","texture.jpg", and "tree.dba". To be able to make trees, just include "tree.dba" in your project. You can replace the whole creation process by just using loading "tree.dbo". It is very simple, and step by step.

You should look into the transparency commands and arguments, as you have backdrop/texture bleeding which causes those black edges.

Oops, here is an update that fixes that, just replace the executables.

BTW, that one looks crappy because of the image, not the program. I attached a screenshot to show Easy Trees can do pretty realistic trees too.

I'm still unclear as to what this does that people can't do on their own with like 3 lines of code and a picture?

If this program actually allowed you to draw the trees easier (i.e. some kind of graph drawing function with randomisation for branches and a leaf spamming function), then it would be easytrees. - And I'd probably use it.
