yeah, but if you don't draw people in by displaying immediate visual "eye-candy" people have no way of knowing whether or not your segments are high quality, and whether or not this thread is worth their time.

I don't think you understand. You need in game screenshots in your post. Not a link to a website with pictures, a youtube video, etc. Now about the textures, they aren't seamless and most of them look like they are just raw textures straight from cgtextures or where ever you got them. Make them seamless and play around a bit with them to get the coolest look.
