I'll keep this short.

I have made a weapon which worked perfectly before, but when I changed the gunsounds everything went to the forest...

The reloadsound plays when the retrive should be played, and then there is no reload sound when reloading.

I have tried everything to see what causes this, but I cant really find the problem.

I guess it has something to do with either the model or the sound, since the same thing happens when I put the model and sounds into the tavor folder, with tavor gunspecs (I have changed the sounds frames so it should play where its should...)

I also have another problem, the gunshot sound won't play correctly either, it plays where is thould but then it abruptly ends.

Notice I have tried both Vanilla FPSC and Project Blue.

If someone would like to help please tell me and I could send the files.

To get the stone rolling (or whatever you say)

1000 frames of animations
About 50 different sequences, the stock weapons have about 10

Something is wrong...

No one got any idea?

Thanks anyways!

I have now tried to rename the reload sound and then load it to play at a certain keyframe. And even if the name now is reload_long.wav it still plays at the beginning... And not when it should.

Hmmm...

I think that sound_3 is hardcoded to be the retreive sound, I think. That may be your problem.

Other than that, I don't know. And that is a cool gun.

Well I use sound2 as reload, same as the tavor do.
Then I use "sframe1 139,2" for soundframe

I am really getting a headache becuase of this.
Now it worked! But when I made a copy of the guns folder and tried that gun, its the same thing as before...

[edit] Nope, doesnt work anymore. Looks like I need a weapon in my hands when picking up my rifle, otherwise it wont work...

Why? This isn't fun anymore...

I have looked through both the official manual and the cimmunity manual. Nothing.

Maybe it has something to do with the second number? I don't know, but that could be your problem. Maybe. If my random stab in the dark was right.

Well, whats weird is that the gunspec I use is the tavor, I have only changed the number on what fram the sound should play. So if you are right the same thing would happen to the tavor.

But I will see what happens.

Well, maybe the sceond number is important... Like, it relies on the frame, or the sound...Etc. etc. I'll be looking for what it does.

I looks like the only sound which actually needs a soundframe is the reload, the others play anyways.
I tried with the reload as 5th sound, renamed it to something else but still this happens.

Even when I changed the reloadsound to another it still plays the first sound...

This got to be a joke...

For two days I have been trying to find a solution for this, and it was as simple as moving the ;HUD sound frames list to the bottom...

Well well, problem solved.

Expect a cool release soon

Thanks for your help Shadowtroid! You will get a copy of it as soon as its packed

That's good. If only the rest of the world was like it is here in the FPSC boards...

...wait, on second thought, too many babies would be born with their heart installed into the wrong directory then they have to bug everyone about it...(I'm not refrencing you, I'm refrencing the large amount of people on the Fenix Mod thread who would NOT understand that they needed the databank folder that was INCLUDED WITH THE DOWNLOAD!!)
