Hi

There don't appear to be any commands to multi texture or scale a texture on a terrain, Nor any to size or scale it, making them pretty useless for use in games

I remember back in the patch 3 days people said Terrains were not finished yet and would be properly working after patch 4, has it already happenned and my help files need updating? Or if they aren't available yet, any idea if it'll be soon?

Not complaining, just wondering

Thanks, Sam / K2

I've made a mental note to ask Mike about this at the upcoming conference.

It is a pity too because there was a stunning "Massive Terrains" demo on DBDN.

Mike said he would work on this, but I think he has been really busy the past few months with making sure Portals, Octree(Nodetree), nodetree collision, lightmapping, CSG stuff works. I think after Upgrade 6 things will be cleared up enough for him to work on it.

Thanks, can't wait for this to be implemented properly, I can think of loadsa uses for terrains in my projects

I'm pretty sure the answer's on, but is there any easy way to add / change diagonal splits of square tiles on a matrix? So you could have a mtrix of 2x2 squares, raise the middle point and make a pyramid? Because obviously with the diagonals all facing the same way, it makes certain shapes impossible
