i need a LINK (if you dont mind) for
1. a FREE texture maker of some sort
2. a converter from *.ms3d AND *.3ds (if not both, then just *.3ds) to X files.
all help is appreciated.

2. ms3d files can be exported directly from within milkshape to x files. Also if you have milkshape, load up 3ds and export to x
