okay, so ive been doing some work these 2 days for the 3d compo, and the model is about done, some poly reducing and this baby is going into photoshop, although the texturing will probably be the downfall of the model.... =) atm 596polys, means i have ~96 polys to get rid of=P i like it so far though =D let me know what u think?

Quik, have you considered making your model really high poly then making a low poly version and baking those details to a normal map. That way you can go pretty nuts on your details without affecting your poly count. Not entirely certain but that looks like a max render to me and its really easy to do in that package.

Its just a few mouse clicks mate and a bit of patience to perform a bake. There is a link to a tutorial here which is very good.

collect loads of reference when you think you have enough go find some more. You can do it, take your time and work with plenty of layers.
