Download milkshape 3D (MS3D) and try the 30 day trial then import your 3DS file and use the tools to export it in .X i believe its quite easy to find, and make sure you can use the model you bought in a game...

i downloaded the trial but as soon as i opened it up it said my trial is over and wont let me export it any other program i can use thats free?

Nope, you`re time is obviously over try blender download a exporter .X exporter thats my best guess...

Or... you can wait to the 20th and i can export for you
