The game must connect to The Game Creators web server to be able to work so you must have a working internet connection.

Correct. A LAN connects network devices over a relatively short distance. A WAN is a geographically-dispersed collection of LANs. LAN do not require internet.

Something I have tried.
On another computer (which has the internet), I launched the game, then pulled out the internet connection and it all worked fine. I could host a game and others on the same router could connect to my game no problem at all.
Why is the game searching for a internet connection when launching, since you dont need it while in game.
Is their something in the FPSC source code thats checking the internet and needs to be turned off?

hey gun guy. It's actually simple. Go to start, run, type in cmd. Command prompt will open. Type Ipconfig. get the IP address for that computer. Run FPSC game on the computer you will use as your lan server (Can also be played on, at work we call it papa) Host a game. Now your other players can sit down, when it says on their screen to enter an ip address. Simply type the IP of the papa computer into the box. And there you go, they will connect to your comp. Make sure all your computers are hooked up to a server, or Ethernet cord system.

**EDIT**
When you build the game find the setup file open it and where is says multiplayersomethingorother = 0 (I forgot the name) make it 1 and if its 1 make it 0 save and try.

Maybe you don't fully understand me. When I launch the FPSC Game, it wont go into the menu at all. The screen stays blank for a few minutes the the message pops up. So no menu at all, just quits.

Oh I see. This sounds like something I had gotten one time. Did you try the setup file though? I think that's how I got my game to work.

Yes I tryed this last night. On the setup file it said multiplayergame=1 so i changed it to 0.
The game launched staight away no black screen or message, clicked host game, took roughly 3 minutes and I was in. Tryed to join on the other 2 PC's and
IT WORKED
