I make segments and just want to point out, take time on textures. It may take a while depending on your skill, but it pays off in the long run.

If you want to make your own segments. maybe this will help.
Use this image to make wall textures. (see download)

just fill it in with a color.
and use layers to make greater effects.

Niloc you might want to make those those textures seamless, it'll make them look a lot better, by the way what program do you use?

Nilloc,

That's a great texture but as you can see when placed side-by-side, the pattern is too obvious and repetitive. With a pattern that strong, you're better off making multiple textures - say a series of three or four - with variations so that they don't repeat so often. Though not as obvious, the floor has the same repetition.

Keep working at it!

Brian.

yeah I'm pretty sure (pretty sure) that the wall isn't seamless, in the gimp there is a seamless filter you can use

If you leave it like that then a 2d object beat you, I would never let that happen. I say work on it till you like it.

What this place needs in non square deualt type 100x100x5 segments, it needs shapes, slants, different segments than the default. Also SEAMLESS, Ive already posted this week how to make them, Im sure it could of even been to you, may be wrong.

Just did a check, it was you, so this is the third time Ive mentioned it, take note, keep all your segments in one thread, you dont need to kepp making another thread for every segment you make, otherwise we are going to get the whole board being your posts with every new one you make.
