Hi guys been very busy the lat 2 weeks. So I have some time this weekend to finish this project.

I have decided to redo the meshes with a similar method I have used on the sewer meshes. So hopefully no more hard edges as well as unrealistic shadows where wall and ceiling meshes meet.

So this follows on the previous design however this is a completely new mesh set so this does not tie in with the previous pack. These new segments are however compatible with the previous pack so some segments can still be used with the previous pack.

Enjoy !

You will notice no more hard edges as well as weird shadows problems...

More tunnels

I think these segments are really good for making the architecture look more intresting

nice, although I never found any problems with your old ones. they're great for level design, if only FPSC had the ability to dynamically create hanging wires like in L4d...

lol

Well you could animate it would be easy however I have know idea what the keyframes are named and numbered....

I could however animate like a door to activate once shot/melee at to play the animation....

the previous tunnels are still nice however I want to get rid of the sharp edges...

I absolutely enjoy the tunnel and sewer pieces you put out. And I see what you mean on the hard edges for the tunnel. But your work was great to begin with and those screens they look fantastic.

Well it is really not just that.I find the shadows very annoying where two meshes meet and I am getting rid of that.

also want to try out a few more designs and stuff...

Are you using MS3D? Why the yellow-ish weird color?

Your segments are great, a good giveaway

Okay I have started with the textures and texture overlays.

I think it might be a problem as it is not seamless so I might as well just make it a alternative texture

I will get back to it some day the sheer amount of work it requires is insane.Your head has to be screwed on correctly to deal with 500 or more meshes....

But the tutorial is still in the works and I have started with it of sorts here I will get to that part some time during the next few weeks.I found it best to start with the basics first before moving on to that it just makes it much easier to get the first time around....

[/href]

It's has not taken off as planned there are not a lot of questions/feedback regarding segments so that might be a good time to asks some questions if you have any in mind about segments or creating levels in a 3d model editor.....it would help to formulate the diary according to what people want to know

I don't have any questions right now, but if I do I will shoot you an email. I think Lewis was looking for help on some segments and I suggested you.

Well another week gone by and another myth busted....Am I even at the right forum.? No seriously a busy week just past and another one half way done...

In that time I did get to make some new meshes textures and decal overlays for the tunnel walls and floors...The revamped textures look much better but I might be looking at getting a slighty more greyish textture

Hi guys.

It's a sad but also a good day, I received a call yesterday from childrens educational software maker for an interview I went to a few weeks back.

They were interested in what I have to offer unfortunately it is not for the post that I have applied for but still play testing is still not bad offer even if it is only a temp post.By the looks of things I will not be doing the play testing my self but rather listen to kids using the software and do a report based on that.Which in many ways is still better than nothing at all.Now I just have to get some one to help out at the take away in 5 days time.

So all projects have been put on hold while I am gone which should be about 3 months or so....

So guys see you all soon again

Thanks

oh BTW Since I will not have time to import these here they are please note these are fully compatible with the original concrete tunnels.

May be used in non-Commercial "FPSC" projects only.

Thanks enjoy!!!

I have removed files or are in the process of having files removed. The reason for this I have left the forum and will no longer be supporting them.

Thank you for understanding!

Hiya keith!!

No still sticking with FPSC I am looking forward to the migration and future TGC products in fact ordering MP22 and MP38 and maybe 34 39 and 40 if there is enough money....left in my wallet..

I simply will just not be active on the forum any more as well as not making any media or game/media wip's.I still however need to pop onto the forum every now and then to check for beta's.

The main reason is that I have gotten the opportunity to do play testing in the industry even if it's only educational kids software and a temporary post.So all time and effort would need to go into that to try and win my self a permanent post and work my way up for there.(easier said than done)

So thanks for all the support with the media and comments. So perhaps when I have settled I can actively join the forum again.

Also; have you thought of leaving your free work up, with a disclaimer that they are unsupported? Have you heard anything back from Lee about using your sewer segments in an official release inside a FPSC Update? They would be extremely useful to numerous game-types.

No when I have time again in the next few months I will make a "unofficial" release.Currently time in limited....No the media will be/is removed for the time being...I have found that some of the past meshes that I have done made their way into paid and free packs. So I do not want to give any one the opportunity to use and abuse besides the sewer and stock media packs can be found on freefps...

Do not worry I will be back sooner or later...if I do not get a permanent post I will be back sooner than expected...the contract expires in little more that 2 months....
