Caligari Corporation is pleased to announce gameSpace 1.0.

gameSpace was created for those that are looking for
an all-inclusive, high performance tool at an affordable
price point to create game graphics!

It is based on Caligari's flagship product trueSpace 6.6
with a feature list that is specific to mod-developers,
game developers, and those who are interested in learning
about 3D. Polygonal modeling tools, subdivision surfaces,
animations for game characters, and high quality rendering
options coupled with the ability to export to the major game
engines like Unreal, Half-life, Quake, DarkBasic, 3D Game
Studio, and host of others make gameSpace the only
all-inclusive, high performance game content authoring tool
on the market today.

Goes for 199$ ( a bit too much..)

I saw that also in an email but was dubious whether to post it.

$199 US is $400 AUD so ill have to think hard about that one.

if Milkshape is great then Caligari`s Gamespace would have to be defined as Pan Dimensional Galaxy spanning Mega Hyper Super Ultra Fantasticaly Awesome (if it`s even just a little like Truespace), plus you probably get a manual the size of telephone directory and I just love manuals that actualy tell you something (unlike some manuals I could mention ),[edit] I wonder if that includes exporting BSP`s?, Whoa!!!!!, model and bsp editor all in one, that would be cool

Mentor.

[edit edit] Chumbalumba soft are listed as partners, so Milkshape won`t be competing with it, but the big downer....no mention of bsp, just md2/md3 not worth the money at that...just for a moment I thought someone had made something useful
