Hi,

Sum up : is it possible to "modify the value" of entry$()?

Am trying to make my own dynamic input system in which I could modify several variables. I realised using the entry() expression makes 90% of the job. But the problem appears when I want to modify a string :

Let's say I have a string mytext$="Hello"

When I click on this text, I would like the entry$() to be initialised with the string mytext$ already existing. Instead of starting back with a new empty string.

(Since there will be several variables to be modified this way, my last value of entry$() is not "Hello" but it can be the value of any other variable. It seems to me the only way I can solve my problem is to be able to modify the value of entry$...is that possible?)

thx

No, there are no conditions to using it at all.
