i am getting really frustrated with fpscx10

Here is my current knowledge of making a light with a switch
1. put a light and a light switch in the level
2. set both to dynamic
3. set light\'s name and the lightswitch\'s \"if used\" command to the same name

It doesn\'t work!

also, how do you set it so that the light is turned OFF at the start and you have to press the switch to turn it ON

i tried changing the light\'s AI scripts to start \"disappear1.fps\" and destroy \"appear1.fps\"

It still doesn\'t work!

someone help

I don't see why you are having trouble. Simply spawn a switch, make it dynamic, set it's if used property to the name of the light. Spawn a light, make it dynamic make sure the name of the light is the same as in the switch's if used. Don't mess with the scripts. As for making a light off first make an .fpi file and put this code in.

Also, make sure that your spelling and capitalizations are exactly the same.
