I installed the trial of DarkBASIC Pro and DirectX 9.0c from the DirectX site. I follwed the instructions and Everything seemed fine, except when I tried to compile my first program. I got the message: "Installation and Compiler Versions are incompatible."

Why not downloading the free version of Dark Basic Pro?

It's same as full version but there's an advertisement banner included in the editor(doesn't show in your game!)

Ah right, I didn't read that properly, I thought it was the full version.

Yeah, just get the free version and it should work
