A while ago I animated a sword that I created and I exported the .X file with the animation. When I put the texture and the .X file in the entity bank of the Make entities with .X files thing. When I run the program it stops and closes. I don't know whats wrong. I used Blender to make it and animate it.

The .x file is corrupt. This is usually caused by not selecting the model before export. If that is not the problem, click export all instead of export select.

I tried what you said and more but it is still not working. I even took away the animation. Deselected the animation. But still nothing.

If that wasn't the problem... Did you use the Subsurf modifier?

Subsurf is a modifier that increases the poly count of models and makes models look a bit better.

well, the only way for me to solve the problem is to actually have the file.

I have found a solution for you, go here http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=166987&b=3 download the attached file in the first post.

Once downloaded, extract it and drop the DirectX9Exporter.py file into the Blender Foundation\Blender\.blend\scripts folder

This python script was made for the Dark Basic User in mind, and since FPSC runs on Dark Basic then it works (that and I just used it myself ). you just need to reexport it using the new exporter.
