Can Simone please explain the effects in entities forme please?

I suppose that this is where I'm supposed to put some witty one liner. Well...sorry to dissapoint.

That is the FX file that is used on the character. They are shaders.

If you go into your FPSC folder, go into Files, then into effectbank, you can see all of the files you have. Just browse for them.

Shaders are files that tell the texture, etc. what to do in certain situations. They usually apply to light, eg. getiing brighter in light. They can also be used for other things, like the ripple shader which will make the texture move around a lot on the model.

Experiment with shaders, if you want.

Oh, ok. And can someone please tell me what each one does. I don't see what bump and the other bump.... effects do. I tried putting them in light and they seemed similar.

What do you mean, put them in light? The entities that use them?

Well, all the bump shaders are similar. They only have the other ones so that some developers can get picky.

Others however, may not have all the textures necessary to use a certain shader. If you look in a folder in the entitybank file then you might see several textures, like example_D, example_N example_D2, etc.

As a general rule you don't need to mess with these much.
