anything taht you download or buy from turbo squide can be used for comercial use correct cause i bought some nice textures im going to use for a segment and im not sure if i can use it in comercial use cause the author did not state...

you can use it for commercial use if you buy it , but if there's a free thing it's kind of like getting media off this forum - always read th readme. But if there isn't one there it usually means you can(or cant, so I would try to find out from the author first). You can always check by contacting the person also.

There is no "guessing", when it comes to proprietary media. You either can, or can't distribute it, depending on the license included...or by the site's instructions.

I thought all turbo models came with a license when you downloaded? Rule of thumb, don't resell media you buy.

Taking someone else's texture from a different website and posting them as a segment here for free isn't necessarily illegal (unless they decide to sell it)... It's more of a 'Original Author Not Credited' issue. It's like taking textures from CGTex and using them in segments.

But, yes, I don't like that idea of his either...
