It seems like there are a lot of people that want to make a mod, is anyone actually going to make use of the Google Code feature? If there are multiple people that plan on making free mods, but don't want to update it to Google Code, I would be willing to organize people's different code, and keep the Google Code version up to date with all features from what people make.

That is a shader, so it depends, on if anyone can recreate that shader. I know that I can already implement soft particles in DBP, and I would be willing to do it that way.

Sure, I don't have the most free time, but I know how to do a good amount of stuff in DBP, and I do believe that the X10 community deserves a good mod, more than anyone else. I'll help as much as I can.

Also, I had an idea. How many people would appreciate it, if I fixed the underwater screen from just a color, to a full screen shader that will refract the world?

!!!UPDATE!!!

the X10 kit has been released, but you have to find it. Simply go to the X10 site, and scroll to the end of the page, where you will find the download. I have already compiled it and it works. I am going to browse through it, and play around with some things before I start finalizing any additions I make. I attached a compiled list of all requested features, I'll start on fixing the shadows, doing the water shader, and soft particles, then go from there.

man, this code takes forever to compile, there is a good 40000 lines of code but there are alot of pages linking to each other. but I have looked at it and yes, all this stuff can be added.

who ever thinks this is wrong, why? its the same code with just some add ons and the code itself is slightly changed for difrent fetures. but the code in itself is the same, fpsc is fpsc, It runs of the same prinsiples so all i need to do is copy and paist for the open modes, I have to make shure I copy and paist in the right places but all the work for the open sorce mods is already done for me.

i think you should add to the features list (ambient level, bloom, water level etc...) a directional ripple movement bar. There will be a sliding bar with 0-360 (so you can angle the ripples the way you want it, the option to do directional ripples, and when you adjust the speed and smoothness this should effevt the ripples as well. Also when you go under water it should be like X9 with all of the light feflecting off the waves and then shot under water (like the pool effect).

Tomorrow never comes until it is too late...
