I think I have everything right, I have all three programs installed, with DX9 in the include folder. What am I doing wrong?
It has been driving me nuts for days!!!

do you have DirectX SDK?>???
or just the Directx Redisteublaskdf

i can think on some solutions

if you have directX SDK installed
then you need to check in Visual C++ > Tools > Options >
Projects and Solutions > VC++ Directories
change to Libraries
in that list there needs to be :

something like:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft DirectX SDK (February 2010)\Lib\x86

in that folder the file you are missing exist.
so , if you installed directX sdk it should be auto configured
if not , check where you have installed it which is probably the same if you use Windows 7 , if you use XP then it should be in:

C:\Program Files\ Microsoft DirectX SDK (August 2007)\lib\
something like that
