it was somthing like Violent Schitzophrenic Paranoia and Delusional Multiple Personality Disorder, but if i ever seem like assh*le... blame that.. but i didn't diagnose it, the psychiatrist did..

Obviously you're not taking this too seriously.

Psychiatrists no nothing in my opinion, they say one thing but realy they're saying: "We charge by the minute, so lay there on the couch while we ask silly questions and talk crap for an hour or so."

(Puts on a Superman costume and attempts to fly by jumping of the wardrobe. Then, two big guys force their way in with a straight jacket and take me away)

Ack, any psychiatrists that believes a pill will fix everthing got a screw loose, I say. Plus they got no clue as to what they're talking about. Take me for example, I was labled with deppression, bi-polar dissorter, and manic depressive, at that was just at age 10! They later added personality dissorder (talked to several people with masters in the field and none can tell me what it is other than a 'catch-all') and 'homisidal when enraged'. Utter bollocks.

Psychiatrists are generally idiots. They classify everyone with some disorder or mental problem and try to make you want to use their services more, getting them more ca$h. They'll say you're insane just because your mind works a bit differently. Ignore them

ehh depends as always...if there's one thing chemistry managed to stick in me head is that there's always exceptions. Sure, maybe 99.9% of all psychiatrists are crap, but there are also some who are good, even if it is less thatn 1%..

But did you know that a majority of the psychologists, began to study psychology to find out their own problem ? (that's not a joke)

Sorry to hear about your troubles Liquidz , my brother in law has been diagnosed with schizophrenia for about 8 years now and it has been a bit of a rollercoaster for him (and us). He has started a new medication which seems to be working well . The important thing is to take what you are prescribed. Part of his problem all these years was that he felt he didnt need meds and all he had was depression. Hope it all works out.

I never went to a psychiatrist, never did, never will. Though maybe I should see one because I'm constantly made fun of at school, and its really bugging me now.

Taking what you're prescribed is likely to make you feel worse, both mentaly and phyisicaly.

it may do in the short term , but ive seen the consequences of no medication and its nothing to joke about.
A great deal of hurt can be caused both to the family and the person involved something which will never fully heal. There is a transitionary period as the medication has an effect and rather than paranoid ,phsycotic ,fearfull , loathing feelings there are symptons more associated with straight up depression as the person realises somethings not quite right. Severe stomach pains were another symptom he complained of. However this is nothing compared to the turmoil and fear he was living in before these meds and before the last ones he didnt take.
This is what i gathered from my experiences anyway. You cant let it go unchecked because it will just trap you and screw up your life like it has done to Derek

Agreed. They can be ruin your life, get you addicted, drive you truly insane, and, in more than a couple situations, be fatal.

Swam all the way across the pond to save some of you brits from complete insanity I suppose
