Luckily our school isn't that cheap but the PC's suck, they are really slow, specially the one's in our libary, they only have 512mb of memory but my school thinks that they can run Windows server 2008 which is basicly windows vista, stupid school should learn more about system specs insted of just waking some random PC together.
Anyway, on topic :
You would have to install DirectX as a driver cause it is a Driver. Most School computers dont normally have a DX9 compatible card inside though so its quite useless. Also most schools have a server that all the other PC's use to get apps and other things off so you would have to install DX9 on that server which would be close to impossible.
