Shader Adding
Well.. anyone who wants their segments to look proffesional
First Open the Effect you want to add to a Segment
For Example:
Wall.fx from Mp38
Read the lines that says
"
//Description: Shader for lightmapped segment walls. Uses constant forward "hero" specular highlights
//Textures:
//"texture_D.dds" diffuse texture
//"texture_I.dds" specular texture
"Texture_D.dds"
Just copy the texture (in firma it should be in Firma\Room textures\"your room")
and to the copied file add Your room_D
"Texture_I"
You i'll need this
http://developer.download.nvidia.com/tools/texturetools/Photoshop_Plugins_8.23.1101.1715.exe
-That plugin
-Photoshop
just open the normal texture and press Filters Nvidia Normal map filter and ad in the Alt Conversions,"Normalize only" now accept saveit as "Your room"_I
Now in the FPE file in the effect from 1 to 16 (0 is for floor)
add your shader doing like this
Effect1: "Your shader"
(please note 1 space between the effect1: and the Your shader)
Final Result(picture from Trashed memories,can be found in Wip forum)
Hope it helped
Best,BJ
