I downloaded fps creator, when using trialpay cause my version is broken (i cant find the cd key, and my email is gone) and i decided to buy a new one.

I downloaded from http://*****************/FPSCreatorV1-online.exe

"C:\Users\Michael\Desktop\FPSCreatorV1-online.exe";"Trojan horse Generic17.UXK";"Infected"

What the heck? AVG Stops me from downloading because of this.
Is this a virus or something, or is it a "pirate check"

I need help!

Oh no. You got NORTON!?!? You'd be better off with nothing..
I hope you don't expect to host any multiplayer games with Norton... It blocks everything...

I don't see why everyone hates Norton... I use Norton AntiVirus and it's saved my computer from lots of viruses... Also, I can host multiplayer games just fine, like in Counter-Strike...

Exactly. I have Norton on one computer, AVG on another, and a third scanner on our third computer. Everyone has an opinion- I drive a Ford, you drive a Chev. Who cares.

Norton does tend to use a bit more resources on machines, so if you don't have a system to handle it, then use something different. Not one of these virus scanner applications are perfect. I've had issues with AVG giving false alarms, other times Norton has done it. No need for this topic to turn into a virus application debate yet again.

Cheers

Mike

You are right BlackFox. I think this problem has been solved so we shouldn't end up talking about which virus checker is best etc..

Nonono, Lee intends to take over all of the machines with FPS Creator installed.

I used it for several years when I was young and I have to say it sux. I got Avast a few years ago and it's rly saving my PC. I've tried getting my friend to install it cause his PC has billions of viruses on(Due to the slowness, his PC stopped responding for 1/2 hr every time I clicked the start button o.O) and he turned it down and stuck with Norton.

I got the Norton trial and hate how persistant it is...when it runs out, every hour or so a huge box pops up in front of everything, crashing any games or fullscreen applications i'm using asking whether I want to renew or "remind me later". How about a "don't remind me option" Needless to say I've uninstalled it now and got avast!

As far as I know, that itself is a virus. One time I got that when I downloaded a pic from an email. Norton picked it up and said it was a trojan
