Does anyone else think it would be useful to have a way of searching the newsletters? There's many a time I have thought 'that sounds useful, I may use that', only to find when I decide to use it I can't remember which newsletter it is in. I then have to try to remember how long ago it has been and manually trawl through them. It can be a long process lol.
Anyway, just a thought.

Hi guys ...many times I have been in that situation ,trying to find some examples that I've seen before and never keep.I think the only way at the moment,is as it has always been.Some times it hard to search just a simple example in forum,so I imagine it will be more technically complicated. So far we have to manually search for one to one untortunately

cheers.

Hi,

It would be great to have a searchable index of all newsletters, but as a workaround I always use google with the site parameter pointing to http://www.thegamecreators.com/data/newsletter when I want to find something I read in the newsletter

Ex: Trying to find the Unity example with a butterfly:

Search in Google:

It works most of the time.

Hope this helps.

Nice work around. It would still be nice if it was built in to the site of course

I just get this:

Quote: "Your search - butterfly site:http://www.thegamecreators.com/data/newsletter - did not match any documents. "

Edit I guess I should have used Google itself, not the Google Forum search box on this page.

@Chafari

Don't worry. Mad Nightmare is from Newcastle - the English equivalent of Barcelona.

I've mentioned the Google tip to Rick and Paul, as a possible feature of the site. It won't be high priority, but it's with them to consider.
