-----EDIT-----
Is this sellable quality?
-------------------------

Hey all,

Me and a friend of mine are working on a fantasy/medieval game.
Since there's a lack of medieval models I decided to make my own.
I'm still quite new to modeling, I have been modeling for 4 months but with a lot of brakes in between. I started to model a medieval city wall and I think it looks pretty good for somebody as inexperienced as me. It doesn't look as good as all the amazing work here on the 3d forum but I wanted to ask for your opinions. Remember I'm still learning.

C&C please!

Thanks!

Wow pretty sweet. Did you make those textures yourself?

If it hasn't exploded yet, I haven't touched it.

The resolution seems fine to me, maybe it is because the shot is at a distance.

@mike: Thanks a lot buddy!

@quik: you don't see details because of the distance. I don't know how to do bump/spec mappings. would anyone be so kind to give me a link to a tutorial or something like that?

@asteric: that's right, you don't see detail because of the distance

@hassan: Thank you! I will. Still waiting for the 1.17 update with water haha

Now I'm inspired to try and make one myself. Then we can have catapult wars

Thats a fine start. A great tip given to me when I first started was to collect plenty of reference pictures before starting and really study the details. Have a quick google search for some castle images and you will notice that some things in your model arnt quite right. There would normally be a bit of structure above the gate etc.

Dont let me put you off, this is a fine start. Just trying to pass some tips on from a old hand at modelling.

Edit:
You ask if this is of sellable quality, I suggest that a search of some of the models on the3dstudio or other sites and see if yours compares to the quality.

What would help a lot would be some close up screen-shots and a wire-frame, so i can see what is going on, a bit hard to tell from far out.
