humm.... #1 definetly
#2 it doesnt support sound fonts....however i have developed a patch system that would work simular. In that video you see me loading patch files in to replace the midi stuff.
#3 Record from a midi device....humm.... Do you mean sample from a midi device? Or capture you playing on an external device?
It can use an external device to play over but does not work very well. It does not capture play but can capture sound tones to create somthing simular to sound fonts. (seperate app i made to do this)
#4 score sheet..... humm...It only supports 4/4 bar if that means anything to you.....the funny thing about this application is that i have no general background in music at all.....
But try it out as it does work well for me...
What can QM DO?
-export midi
-record stereo wav 2,16,22000khz i think....but i could add an option to make it do higher if you wish
-encode to ogg vorbis
-create midi loops (simular to magix music maker) but in my eyes better as you can edit the raw loop.
-auto patch midi files to use recorded sound tones (simular to sound fonts)
and much more...
Anyways im releasing 1.9 right now as i decided to add more before release 2.0 is ready.
Install instructions:
-WARNING if you do not follow the instructions you may be wasting a tun of disk space so read please!
-Uninstall any previously installed copy of qmidi studio
-goto your [my documents] folder
-Find [Qmidi Studio] Folder and go inside
-Find the folder [Dts] and drag it in the trash
(failing to do so will result in about 300 meg of wasted space)*estimate
-now install the new version 1.9 that will require 640 meg to install as it has 130 patched instruments.
Enjoy
