Here's a small test level you can try out. Nothing much, just shows a few of the things that will be included.

*Note*: There are a number of things in this test that won't be included, including the music, the spider door, the large wooden light holders (and probably a few other things that you might recognise).

Are you going to use bond1 shaders (normal maps and spec map) on the pack?

Hey Nickydude, do you need any more help?
I could make some music for the pack, you could just tell me what you would like it to sound like. Dungeon music sounds fun! I can't make slow, eerie music though, it would have to be fast paced/intense/battle-like.
But if you don't need any more help, that's fine, just thought i'd offer.

Cheers, Jake

Thanks for the kind help gestures guys but we have everything under control.

@fallen one: I wouldn't know where to start mate, graphics/anim/modelling/shaders aren't my thing so I've never really bothered looking at them. May be sometime down the line as there will be updates/bonuses for those buying the pack.

For the normal map, you can get a pretty decent one just running the diffuse tex through crazybump. Then its just the naming convention in FPSC.

This is still ongoing and may incorporate bond's PS2 shader, plus I've had other things going (like a teaching exam) but this has definitely not been abandoned.

plus I promised Ross tra damus that I'd finish it!

Here's hoping we see this a long while before x-mas -- I'd rather pick it up right away than wait another chunk of time for it The screens and demo are looking really great.

Perfectly compatible with Rosstradamus great MP41 pack

Screenshot 15 really takes my fancy because FINALLY I get to see some stairs that have built-in sides, which allows to build pyramid-like structures.

I'll buy it!

Actually those sides are a separate thing. If you look at screenshot 5 you'll see them being used as something else.

@Nickydude, I just "played" the demo and want to thank you for providing it. A lot of MP developers don't even care doing proper screenshots (not to mention something playable) so your effort is very much apprecciated

PS: I have played "game demo's" from the WIP board that where much more boring than your monsterless showcase demo

I've been through a couple of reformats of my machine since this started, I hopefully have all this backed up somewhere (fingers crossed).

I will release it but I'm waiting for a stable release of FPSC, not sure when that will be though.

So no, it isn't a joke, but it's not gone as smoothly as I hoped.

This can be good for some people.

I think this is not free so I have suggestion.

You can release a free version which included just a few of textures and other medias and the program can't save or export anything and it is just for testing it's editor then if we found it a help we will buy it.
This was just a small suggestion and nothing more

And did you use the sound of dungeon pack for your doors?
Because door's sounds was familiar in the movie but it's illegal to use them.

Have our guns was a mistake!!!

Have our guns

Well spotted 'Have our Guns'

I created the doors (including the doors SFX)for Nickydude's Pack and various other Entities for the Pack and he has my permission to use them.
The idea is to make both my and Nickdude's Packs work well together if used for a project.

Thanks for your concern

Cheers and all the best.

No, not dead but I've had lots of other things that got in the way. I'm now trying to devote some time to this (before "Hands-Free Virtual FPSC" appears!!). There are now 70 prefabs and one it hit's 100 this will be released.

Ok, excited to let you guys know that this is almost finished, most of the time was taken up trying to create 100 prefabs that were more that just four walls, a floor and a ceiling and boy, what an effort that was!

It will be beta tested after Christmas and should appear sometime next year.

You'll get 50 rooms, 25 passageways...

and 25 stairs:

As you can see they're not the simple passage with a stair at the end, some are quite complicated.

Note: you're only seeing the bottom level of the stairs, this is due to the way FPSC takes screenshots of prefabs, believe me they are much better in game.

Looks great, Nickydude and Ross tra Damus. A large selection to choose from, mix and match. Knowing and using Ross's work in one of our developments, this will be quite enjoyable and well worth it.

Any idea on pricing? We'd like to plan our budget for next year and will add this to the top of the list.
