If you get mad and want to type something nasty about another person do this-Type what you want to say in the box then press ctrl-a and hit delete then type what you should say.

Cyberspace was becoming overcrowded and slummy so I decided to move. These nice chaps gave me a lift.

They don't work for me, even as a mod. I'm guessing something bugged and they got corrupted.

Shouldn't those threads be from 2002 or 2003 though?

Haha, yours are the same thread but just that there in different positions. Weird how there's duplicates of the same thread. I wonder, would this of happened to other forums on long standing sites.

If you look at the links you can see that there's no thread ID specified (hence the error).

I'm sure you're right. But why isn't a thread ID specified?

Edit And while we're on the subject:

1. Why do those old threads change their order after you've tried to view one of them?
2. Why do so many of the posters have recent dates of joining?

I suspect a conspiracy afoot.

Look at the URL in TheComet's screenshot. "&p=666". Not only a conspiracy, but one of demonic proportions!!

I love these type of things, although there's probably nothing it refers to here.
I say this with reference to Valve, anyone heard about the whole Portal 2-thing? I was there when they accessed the BBS, it was INSANE!

Good times...

1st Jan 1970 is the start of Unix & POSIX time. As the forum database is most likely running on a Linux system, you are probably just getting a 'zero time' translated to your selected timezone.
