Whenever I use the command If mouseclick() = 1 ... endif
my computer freezes after the program is done and when i reboot and I open the file again, the section form if to endif is missing, even though I saved and all the other new additions are there!
I am using windows XP with the latest upgrades, so is my computer causing the problem, or is DBPro, or am I causing it?

not sure how to answer this because people are using XP,2000,98, ME etc etc with dbp and MOUSECLICK and I haven't heard of this problem. Maybe someone here knows of a bug (or potential bug) concerning these issues. Post your code so the community can see what you are doing exactly

My programs use Mouseclick() routines and it has never been a problem.

Please include a larger section of code and i'm sure the problem will be clear to someone.

don't know about the missing code but...

you should do something like this if you are just wanting to detect a mouseclick, and not a constant holding down of the mouse button...



Otherwise you may find something that should happen once going ballistic, possibly even crashing your PC

here is my shooting code.
Xrot, Yrot, and Zrot are how the character is facing, Xpos,Ypos,and Zpos are the characters position, ypos is +150 because the character is 150 tall.

P.s. this gun is supposed to be automatic, so it won't work if I have to use it for each mouseclick, but if that is the only way, then I will gladly use it.

Next question, what's the code executed when mouse is clicked? It could be running something your card doesn't support.
