I had got to thinking the other day about the stock media. And then I thought how cool it would be if we had just ONE more theme to go with stock FPSC. But the problem is...... what should that theme be? my take is it should be something that nobody in the FPSC community has ever attempted before, from a theme standpoint at least. So here's my list for what could be the next stock FPSC media theme:

TGC
World War One
Police
FBI
CIA
NCIS
Baja 500/Baja 1000
Civil War
Revolutionary War
Rally Racing
Vietnam War
Korean War
Rock N Roll
Rap/Hip-Hop
Country/Bluegrass
Rednecks
Hillbillies
Biker Gangs
Bums, Rioters and Vandals
Monster Trucks
Farming
Trailer Park

Whew...... I personally think at least one of those should make it into the migration update. Or maybe one of you can think of other possible themes? Please, don't hesitate to air them here.

C.R. 2008

P.S.- I know some of those are a little too specific of a theme. I was just simply naming themes that artists here have yet(I think)to try...

I think many of these seem like good ideas as model packs although some seem more link music collections.

I do think however that it's a bit much to expect TGC to pay of the models to be made so they can be a free part of the migration, especially as they have already upgraded the stock media for the V2.0 shaders.

You mean the Rock N Roll, Rap/Hip-Hop, and Country/Bluegrass Themes? For those I was thinking like acutal 3D media centered around that theme. Like instruments, musician characters, and concert hall themed segments. Stuff like that...

C.R. 2008

P.S.- As for actually adding any of them to the migration... It would still be okay with me if they didn't, since the stock media we have is getting a huge facelift. But still, these are things we should still consider in the future. But that's just my take.

Yep, those are the ones and the Police/FBI/CIA+NCIS are more or less the same thing.

I do like the idea of rioters and gangs, I think they would make a good addition as a model pack.

Yes, in some sense they are. But I would still like to see them anyway. Think of them as a "Law Enforcement/Federal Agency Mega Pack", lol. And the Rioters/Gangs would have to be a personal must have for me. Since the project Im working on would utilize that to the fullest...

Actually to be very honest we should be bending over to lick TGC their you know what's for the media we're getting, the media we get with the engine would probably cost well over €800 if we had to get someone to make it for us.. And that's when you find someone that's really REALLY cheap.

So I'd say it's simply rude asking for additional free stock media, you're better off adding some of them suggestions to the Model Pack ideas thread. Considering it's much more likely someone will pick ideas from there then a random topic which will dissapear in a few days time.

It doesn't necessarily have to be free. Lee was considering having us pay(a fair price)for future updates to the engine. I doubt it will go through, but ya never know...

Good Idea. I'll do that now.

So it would more or less just be another new model pack for sale on the homepage?
