Hi,
So, in my previous post I asked how to play games from discs. Someone told me that I should copy & paste the game on my comp, or burn an installer on the disc. I tried to copy & paste the game from the disc to my computer... But I still get the same black screen. Can someone tell me how to get an installer?
Thanks.

You are copying the whole folder created and not just the .exe?

An installer is an application to "bundle" your built game into a single file that makes distribution easier. I believe there are software apps such as:

Some installer apps

Nullsoft Installer
ClickTeam
Inno Setup

You use one of these apps to make an install file of your game. You can put on a disk and take to another computer and run the file, which will install your game. Most of these apps have a Wizard that walks you through your install setup, such as what drive/folder to install to, do you want desktop icons, etc.

Cheers

Mike

I think FPSC is what, 14mb? And a base game should be at least 100mb. Check to see if the sizing makes sense (It may already be prepackaged, however unlikely).

Its not who you are or what you've done... its WHY you did it and how far you are willing to go.

No... by the game I meant One of the levels. The level is 14,939mb in size.

Yep... thats the exectable file, NOT the level.

You need all the files to run the game.

14,000 MB of game can't be burned onto a 700 MB CD.

He said 14,939mb, not 14.939.

Some countries use a dot and some use a comma for decimal seperation.
