Hi there!

I am wondering if its possible to save/export animated .x files using DarkBasic Pro (with or without plugins).
I know its possible to save static .x files, but thats not really what I am looking for.

Any ideas?

The only think I know of is that you can save an object as a .DBO file.... Don't know for sure if animation you do while in DBP will save, but you could give it a test.

The fastest code is the code never written.

To save an animated ".x" file you will need some other modelling software like fragmotion / blender / 3ds max / etc. I find fragmotion very good (and free if you an ignore the adverts!!)

Once you have made the ".x" file you an always save it as a ".dbo" from your program later (including animations)

Well, I am mainly interested in .x format. But Otherwise the .DBO could work.

As for using external modeling softwares its a plan B, but that could work aswell.

Maybe there is a plugin somewere?
