Here is a site about 3D Mandelbulbs including source code in a few languages...

It seems that they use some sort of 3D point command to draw the images. Can DBPro do that?

Well, I was wondering how long it would take, but didn't expect real time. Maybe an hour is acceptable.

It is more likely to be around a day, especially in DBPro. Mandelbulbs isn't only about rendering a surface in a raytracer, it's about finding it. And the only way to find this surface is to evaluate every single point in space with the 3D mandelbrot function, which is more than slow. And obviously, if you want more than the surface, for example normals, you can expect some other massive slowdowns.

Uhm, just a question here, but I have not found 1 video where someone zooms into this mandelbulb forever. Is this not possible? All they do is fly around it, but not into it. I thought it is a 3d fractal.

The video is a zoom in I think, and the site has a zoom in, and also the interior shots. It doesn't repeat much however.
