I have searched the fourms numerous times and have yet to find a good code. Im fairly new and I have even tried take 3rd person codes and trying to turn them into first person but have had no success. Heres my current code:

Please help, either changing my current code or creating a entirely new one will work.

Anything said above is completly false and should not be trusted or taken into concern. Everything above was said without thought and should not be considered true information.

Hi there !!
@Scorpyo
Nice code your third camera person, but probably Alanp meant first camera person...in that case here is an example.

@Scorpyo

Stealing my code and modifying it without giving credits again, eh? I recognize it due to my comments. Oh well, don't worry about it.

Take a look at "control camera using keys" or something like that. It seems you want to control it with the keyboard anyway, so look in the help under "commands" (I think).... It's two up from "index" and when you click on that, in the list will be a "camera" link. In that there are several commands for the camera and one will be something like "control camera using keys". It will simplify your code considerably.

If you ultimately don't want to use the keyboard to turn your camera and instead want to use the mouse for "look control", then there are plenty of example code in the "examples" section of the help. Any questions on how they work, just let us know and I'm sure lots of people will be happy to help.

The fastest code is the code never written.

I have understood here that he wants to make a first person camera control.
