Hey all, as you know im new to programming, been doing it for 5 days now, so far iv read TDK's basic tutorials, and then iv made a Pong game using his tutorial also, and half a drawing program. But now i want to try making a Tetris game on my own. The problem is, Im not sure where to start and how i would do this, could someone advise me? Is Tetris too hard for me at this momoent in time? What should i do? Should i remake the pong game on my own and make an improved version with graphics? Or should i stick to making this Tetris idea i have??

Would really appreciate any help.

Thankyou

You might be able to do Tetris. You'd have to know arrays forward and back, though (then again, you will for almost any game past pong).

You've got the right idea starting with retro games, though. I bet Space Invaders would be easier then Tetris, and it would be good array practice, too.
