I was creating a utility to help plot verticies for my little polygon based collision system. Well, when I was using 300 x 400 size images they loaded up.

But when I tried out my fancy 1600 x 700 image, nothing showed up. Does DarkGDK have a limitation for bitmap images?

Well, this is really disapointing.

Would anyone happen to know how to get around this limitation? I really need to use bitmaps. Is there any way that I could draw a sprite or an image loaded with "dbLoadImage()" to the main bitmap (bitmapID 0)?

Maybe you can split it up into several smaller images and paste them individually?

Just a thought,

@JTK,

that is a possibilty.

Quick question, does dbPasteSprite() paste a sprite to the 0 bitmap?

I figured out a work-around, dbPasteSprite() does make it work.

Yes it does (or from what I understand) any other bitmap you tell it too...

I could be wrong, but I believe it does,

Guys, I said I already figured out my problem.

I just loaded the bitmap up as a sprite and then used "dbPasteSprite()" to paste it to the "zero" bitmap.
