Welcome, Guys,,,,

I made already a model in 3ds MAX Program.

I want to save this model as .x file related to .dds file. So that, when I change the dds texture using a graphic program as photoshop, the model will be totally changed in the 3D Game Maker OR in the FPSC. I hope you got my idea.

You want the Panda X Exporter for max and Nvidia's DDS utilities or DDS Converter.

Then you'd just apply the texture file to the model file in whatever editor you are going to use. There are certain ways you have to prepare models for FPSC so check over there to find out how to properly do it.

Thanks for your help.

I have already downloaded both Panda X Exporter for 3ds Max 5 & Nvidia DDS Utility for Adobe Photoshop cs from your hyper-links.

I have succeeded to export the model to .X file in 3ds Max 5 in the color that I use in it, but failed to change the color to the .dds texture that I want in it. The exporting process using Panda X Exporter in the 3ds Max 5 just export .x file without .dds file. I hope you got my problem.
