Ok. where to begin.

from day one fpsc has had nothing but major issues.
aside from many bugs and glitches i managed to fish out, fpsc runs much better on my new machine.

i open the program and everything is good, but when i go to select an entity (which i obtained through fps-files.com), i get a complete melt down.

But other packs and files work fine.
i have installed them all correctly, took me 6 months but i did it.
--------------
So the story continues with the game builder.
When i bought the program, i was able to use the build game feature, but it was buggy and never loaded my level, even if all others but mine were deleted. Always loaded the "simplemap" or whatnot.

After i bought the build game feature thing from the FPS Store i figured my problems would be cured. And i was of course mistaken.

Why was my privilege of build game taken away in the first place?
Why do you have to buy it (build game upgrade) when that's what the program is meant to do? Build Games?

And I've tried every recent update.
I installed update 15. and it helped many problems.
Then the issues continued, thus resorting me to option B.=Update 16.

You say send you the game file to do your thing and whatnot but a contact would be great. Anything helps.
I hate the face I've dropped quite a chunk of cash on something that hasnt delivered me anything good. Im sorry but its tru, i love the program and nothing would make me happier if it just worked.

Well for simplemap on the buildgame settings there is a level select thing. No matter what level is in the editor when you go ontp the buildgame thing it starts out as simplemap.

But what specifically do you need to know?

It might help to notify us of the particular entity that is the problem. It may be that the entities id script is malformed, or you incorrectly "installed" it.

Of course, you can "run" (or w/e it is called) the current level (which will create a "compiled" level either in a subfolder in FPSC's root directory or in the Temp Folder. [forgot which] I don't believe FPSC cleans this up, so after finding it, you can easily copy the folder to your desktop. Thus you can "run" to compile the current level and simply copy the fpsc-exec (or w/e it was called) exe to the root directory of the level's folder.

*confused*

Its not who you are or what you've done... its WHY you did it and how far you are willing to go.

That's because you have to select yours to be actually used.. Seriously read the manual.
