Hey everyone,

Just started work on a project, and typical of FPSC it wants to break me before I can complete it For some reason whenever shader effects are enabled, all my segment textures show like this:

They show fine in the editor and when shaders are disabled, but they refuse to show correctly.

HELP!

The same kinda thing happens to me, but not on as big as a scale, when I have an enemy trigger spawn, they are transparent, but only when I have shaders on.

Not sure what it could be.

Could you please be more specific? What exactly is the problem in the picture? What do you want to change?

Cheers, Jake

If it works without shaders on it means your graphics card doesn't really like the shaders much.

Well, if you look realllly carefully, you can see the walls are covered with the "Load Game" button, and the floors are covered with the arrow pointer used on the menu. Basically, the menu graphics are appearing on my segments with shaders on :S

I've never had a problem with shaders before, this is the first time I've had a problem My graphics card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650.

I could go on a rampage on how much I dislike ATI, but as fate decided I use one myself right now.. Anyways, Sounds like a laptop card to me. But as Moncho said, try cleaning the *.dbo and *.bin files, and then rebuild the scene. See what that does, if it doesn't have any effects try updating your graphics drivers and do the exact same thing again.. If THAT fails try if you can get shaders to work in any other level.. If it works in others there must be a corrupted segment around.
