Type of FOR statement variables must match the type of the value?

First, what exactly does this error mean? second It would help if it told me where or at least sort of where the error comes up.

Why can't the compiler tell what line of code an error pops up in?

It means if you are doing this type of for:
for a = 1.5 to 3.0 step .1

then is must actually look like this:
for a# = 1.5 to 3.0 step .1

without your code it is just a guess. But remember a is a variable type interger.

fltX as float
intY as integer

for fltX = intY to 10
...yadda..
next fltX

won't work because fltX can't equal intY to whatever
FLOAT=INTEGER???NOPE

not saying this was the exact prob but is most likely something along these lines
