Sorry but I did not know where else to post this and I have tried looking around the forums for a solution.

Running windows 7 and using C++ Express 2008 Edition with DarkGDK and when I follow the "getting started" tutorial. The very first part shows that the image loads up in his program. In mine it stays a blank screen. I have typed it out exactly like it says too, and have tried copy pasting it as well.

To no avail

Anyone got a solution to this because it could hinder alot of work I want to do!

Tell me what this produces when you run it.

It should show a window with a black background and white text saying "Hello world!" in the upper left corner.

Is your media in the correct place?
Should be in the directory where your main.cpp file is for that project.
