Whilst in test game, you can use the '<' and '>' keys to raise or lower the ambience.

To make a permanent(test game without manually changing) change to the ambience, go to File>Build Game>Level Settings>Global Script
The default ambience is 25, for a darker level, I would recomend an ambience around 10-15.
