I want to combine a normal map with a color map, set the lighting, and save the final blended image as a single map. I guess you could say I am looking to use a normalmap to lightmap a texture.

I am looking to use this method to cut down on the use of shaders for certain situations that really would not require them.

Thanks.

At least two options:

The accurate way - just combine the three sources of information pixel by pixel using the 2D bitmap commands.

The quick way - just apply a normal mapping shader to a plain and use set camera to image, etc.
