Does NOT work--It erratically gives me an error message that "loadmap" is not a command, or just calls up and stays on a black screen! :-\

Snippet please. Without some code to look at, we will have a hard time debugging it. I know that sometimes people don't want to share code for whatever reason-- no big deal--, so what I would do in that case is to make a simple example that would duplicate the problem and share that.

The fastest code is the code never written.

I d/l'd the PDF and sample source from a tutorial I found on this site not too long ago...
The PDF left the reader to his own devices; but upon checking mine to the "source" code accompanying it, I found that it didn't work at all anyway, so I have no idea where to begin, even!

I have no idea how to do this... I attached the "dbpro" file... is that right then?

The huge dungeon tutorial source code runs fine for me.

The "loadmap" command is actually a function, and is defined in the code.

Some things to check...

Did you extract the "Tutorial 6 - Huge Dungeons" folder into your projects folder?

If so, then you should start the editor, choose File>Open>Project and open the "Quickstart Tutorial 6 - Huge Dungeons.dbpro" project file.

If it won't run, then post your machine details, and what version of DBPro you are running.
