I'm planning a Wild West game. I found an official FPSC model pack and a saloon on the forum, but other than that it's a desert out there. Cowboys, American Indians, banditos, horses, etc... any ideas where I might find these? Many thanks for any help!

Starmind recently released a Native Americans pack.
Search it

@ Capnbuzz,

I hope you don't mind. I did the search for you

You can find Starmind's Native American pack at the following link:

Starmind's Native American Pack

He did a real nice job on it.

Cosmic Prophet had a couple packs as well. You can find at:

Cosmic Prophet Packs

Cosmic had the Western Saloon and his Country Time Pack that may also help you out, even with his Snow and Ice pack.

FPS Creator has model pack 14 as well IIRC that has Western theme items.

I've received your last e-mail, so I'll reply and attach a screen of some models we're working on to see if you may want them.

no problem I may be doing more soon or perhaps even a segment pack to make your own buildings. Hopefully some cowboys as well.

I don't see how that relates to Wild West pack question.

@ General Jackson -- Yeah, I've spoken with Starmind. His pack is AMAZING!

@ BlackFox -- As always, thank you for your help! You always have a useful link!

@ Disturbing 13 -- Ok, your work has sold me on the Wild West! I'd love to see your western characters as you work on them.

Thanks Blackfox for your generous comment.

Capnbuzz, I am glad you like it, but I do have to ask, when did we speak? I can't remember.

Starmind, No worries. We talked a couple of months ago about Native Americans and Polynesians.

So, I looked around the web a bit and found very few Wild West models and characters/figures. Wish I knew enough to create some! One of these days I'll have to take my art background and put it to use in the digital realm. Until then... fingers crossed for more Wild West packs!

Yeah, between Starmind001, Disturbing 13, and Cosmic Prophet, there's some great Old West work out there (although I'd always live more!).

I'm an old-school pen-and-ink artist, but maybe it's time to learn something about the process of translating artwork to digital art and then to 3D models? Seems daunting... Where to start?
