I have this idea that could be used as a difficulty setting.
For Easy you have 200 hp,for Normal you have 100 hp and for Hard you have 50 hp.Could this be done in anyway possible?

You could make a menu hud, with 3 buttons saying 'easy', 'normal', and 'hard' settings. Then if it is clicked, you write a script that sets the player's health to the appropriate amount. Not sure if it would work over multiple levels, unless you use a variable for the whole game after difficulty is set.

If you used Project Blue or Green, the difficulty could set the player's accuracy, damage, health, speed, jumpheight etc. Also, a variable could be stored which is set to the chosen difficulty, so you can spawn certain weapons on an easier mode and less on a harder one.

what if you created 3 different exe's named "easy" "normal" and "hard" and have the certain one run when its selected from the main game screen?

so you can change alot more than the players health, such as weapon damage, ammo sparsity, enemy abundance, enemy health/damage, etc.

health and such is stored in the data files, not the *.exe
