Well, okay, I know this sounds REALLY noobish and all, and I know requests are a bad bad thing that should be killed with fire (lol) but...
I thought I'd ask anyway.
So, I'd need (and I believe man would use it) a shader, similar to the fastbone.fx, but so it'd be a lot darker and would react to lights a little. Just a little. I mean, so little it'd be almost unnoticeable, but you know, like.. fading. I mean, so characters could fit in darkness so they'd not glow... And not look like plastic...

Please?

I think CoZ made one a while ago that wasn't plastic like.

@SekoIdiootti: I released a Horror FX shader a while ago that does just this, although if you require a shader model 3 or 4 version of the shader, then I will happilly oblige.
