I'm working on an improved normal mapping algorithm for FPSC, it's very fast and high quality even at grazing angles, and has the added ability to do parallax offset. It renders even faster than the Shader Model 2.0 normal mapping algorithm. But, it uses HLSL commands only available on Shader Model 3.0 hardware.
So, I'm asking for a volunteer that has an ATI card to test this shader for ATI compatibility. The requirements: You must have DarkShader, and you must have an ATI Radeon HD-series graphics card. Not an integrated chipset, an actual graphics card.
Contact me via email if you meet the requirements, and I'll send you the files to load into DarkShader. The first three people to contact me that meet the requirements will get their choice of one of my model packs
for free as a thank you after testing.
Email me with your ATI card model, and remember you must also have DarkShader.
