Hi, I know how to use the alpha to make objects transparent, but whats the best of of fading an object to invisible? I'm writing my own particle engine and I'd like to be able to allow particles to fade out over time and keep the alpha channel.

Thanks
Nick

fade object objno,value
objno is the object number.
value rank between 0 and 200. default=100. at zero the object will be black but when ghosting it you will see a better particle effects.

I would renind you to use fabonacci series to reduce the use of memory. then let objects be resized till it delete itself. unfortunatley you will not be able to use recursion so other parts of the program can run in real time.
